Here’s how it’s done:
- Make sure iTunes is closed.
- Hold the option key, and keep holding it while launching iTunes.
- Select a library you’d like to load, or create a new one.
To begin creating multiple iTunes libraries on your computer, follow these steps: Quit iTunes if it's running. Click the iTunes icon to launch the program while holding down the Option key (on Mac) or the Shift key (on Windows). Keep holding the key down until a pop-up window appears, and then click Create Library.
