To actually delete the library, you can do one of three things: Click on the iPhoto Library listing, and without letting go of your mouse or trackpad button, drag it until it’s over top the Trash icon on your dock. Once you’re on top of the Trash, let go. Remove an offline address book. This topic explains how to remove an offline address book (OAB) from Exchange Online. Set up your contacts account

  • Jan 08, 2010  first, turn off and reset mobileme syncing completely on the macbook. Then quit address book and delete the folder home directory/library/application support/address book. Log out/in and empty trash start address book. It should be empty except for your address and the one for apple. Then turn on syncing and sync down from the cloud to the computer.
  • If you add email addresses to address book by clicking on the FROM or TO header email address and select 'Add to Address Book', it will auto add to the 'Personal Address Book'. Turn Contacts on or off for an account

Want to add or remove all of the contacts from an account that you already set up? Just turn Contacts on or off for that account:

  1. Go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts.
  2. Tap the account that has contacts that you want to add or remove.
  3. To add contacts, turn on Contacts. To remove contacts, turn off Contacts, then tap Delete from My iPhone.

When you delete a contact, it permanently deletes it from your device. And if you delete a contact from your email account, you also permanently delete the contact from all devices signed into that email account.

  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Scroll Down and tap Delete Contact then tap Delete Contact again to confirm.
